Module Vanier offers a variety of competitive and intramural athletic opportunities for students. The sports for the 2013-14 athletic season include:
Cross Country Running and Road Races, Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Touch Football, Floor Hockey, Ultimate Frisbee, Softball, and Track and Field.
Our fall athletics season will begin with Cross Country running. We have a very active cross country running program- many students medal at both the divisional and district meets.
Both boys and girls volleyball teams were very competitive again this year. The girls team made it to the Division 1 semi-finals.
The boys team won the gold medal at the Division 1 tournament and then also competed and won the gold at the City Championships (vs. the best of the Catholic board)!
Basketball season occurs over the January-March months.
Intramural lunctime sports include: indoor soccer, modified volleyball, dodgeball, floor hockey and flag football.
Not only do our students represent our school well on the court, they also demonstrate sportsmanship off the court. Go Vipers!
As for clubs- Vanier regularly competes in local and regional Lego Robotics competitions, has an active Media Club, Music club, Yearbook Club, Student Voice and Eco-club.
