Each year, we present opportunities for students to engage in charitable work within the Kingston community and beyond. Below are some of the efforts that our students planned and organized this year.
Terry Fox Run - Sept. 2022
Every year, students from Vanier raise money to support the Terry Fox Foundation. This year we donated 362.30! Bravo Vipers!
United Way Cookie Day - Nov. 2022
Our students support the United Way Cookie Day, which is an event created by Vanier and KSS to raise funds for our local United Way. This year, students raised $455.75, which helps to spread positivity and support this worthy charity.
Food drive - Dec. 2022
In support of Partners in Mission Food Bank this year, our students were very generous and filled a van with food items to make the holiday season brighter for families in Kingston. In total, we gathered 1, 513 items and 1,056 pounds of food!! GO VIPERS! The whole school should be proud of the impact that they made in their community.
