Charitable Work

Each year, we present opportunities for students to engage in charitable work within the Kingston community and beyond. Below are some of the efforts that our students planned and organized this year.

Food drive

In support of Partners in Mission Food Bank, our students raised a car full of food items to make the holiday season brighter for families in Kingston. Students also help to organize the items for delivery in December.

Valentine’s day at KGH

Our students raised a whopping $700 for KGH pediatric in-patients. Students raised money through selling candygrams and then purchased 18 gift baskets filled with art supplies, crafts and much more. Students want to brighten the day of children in hospital and found this creative imitative to support youth in our area.

United Way Cookie Day

Our students support the United Way Cookie Day, which is an event created by Vanier and KSS to raise funds for our local United Way. This year, students raise $550, which helps to spread positivity and support this worthy charity.
